More a food pub but still has good selection of real ale looking at the food its presentation looks very good
PERFECT - perfect amazing food with perfect service, couldn't fault it!the menu seems comprehensive with something for everyone and the food was served quick, hot, well presented and plenty of it! well worth a vist! and will be hunting this place down again!
Very nice restaurant and bar. Good service at reasonable prices. The food portions are always huge regardless of whether you order a kid's meal, a bar meal or go and get their Sunday carvery! I would recommend booking if you can just to be sure of a table as it gets very busy, particularly on a Sunday! To my knowledge you can do that both in the restaurant and in the bar.

We had the carvery which we all thought was very good value and well cooked. This was our first visit since the re-opening and it certainly won't be our last.The refurbishment has been done to a high standard and is very cozy and welcoming. We had to sit in the restaurant as it was so busy but we were able to still have the carvery. The lady that looked after us in the restaurant was very helpful & polite and looked after us very well. The desserts were outstanding as they always used to be and so glad they are still as good as they always were. A true traditional English pub & restaurant that has stood the test of time.
