Ive used BJA Physiotherapy for two different injuries now and both times were really positive experiences. My most recent experience was for a knee injury that had stopped me running and wasnt getting better. Brendan took time to enquire not only about what was wrong but also what success looked like to me personally, in my case getting back running with the aim of running a half marathon 4 months later, and built a treatment plan around that, taking into account what was possible for me juggling work and a young family. Throughout the physio sessions, Brendan took the time to clearly explain and increase my understanding of my injury and what I could do to both get back to and build up my running while reducing the risk of further injury. The outcome was that I managed to get back running quickly and completed the half marathon in a much better time than Id expected to. Without Brendans expertise, help and approach I dont think I would have made the start line, much less beat my own expectations.
